Nursing Careers

Full-Time RN

​

Key qualifications:

  • Current RN in the state of Nebraska; with a minimum of 2 references

  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, auditing and decision making skills

  • Possess managerial skills and able to prioritize

  • Must enjoy working with senior population

 
Full-time or Part-time LPN
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with admissions and discharges
  • Monitoring and ordering medications
  • Caring for the residents
  • Documenting and reporting a change in resident’s habits/behaviors to Director of Nursing or Unit Coordinator
  • Managerial responsibilities in helping and supporting staff
 
Key qualifications:
  • Current LPN or RN in the state of Nebraska; with a minimum of 2 references
  • Flexibility with schedule and available to work 8-12 hour shifts and every third weekend

  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Possess managerial skills and able to prioritize
  • Must enjoy working with senior population
 
Full-time or Part-time Nurse Aide/Medication Aide 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Serving meals to residents in the dining room or in their own room

  • Transferring and getting residents to and from meals, therapy and activities according to their individual care plan

  • Documenting and reporting a change in resident's habits/behaviors to Charge Nurse or Social Services

 

Key qualifications:

  • Current certified nurse aide/ certified medication aide in the state of Nebraska; with minimum of 2 references

  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Flexibility with schedule and available to work every other weekend

  • Must enjoy working with the senior population

Kitchen Careers

 
Full-Time or Part-Time Cook

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in the Kitchen & with staff

  • Monitors methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning

  • Prepares and serves residents’ meals

  • Collaborates with Associate Director of Nursing and dietary manager with residents diets and weights.

  • Reports directly to Dietary Manager

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Willing to interact with senior residents on a daily basis

  • Experience with working & cooking in a professional kitchen (i.e.- hospital, school, restaurant, nursing home, etc.)

  • Experience in restaurants

  • Leadership qualities

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders and work assignments.

  • Able to work flexible hours

 

Full-Time or Part-Time Day Dietary Aide

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving & helping residents

  • Setting up & cleaning dining room

  • Handing out supplements & drinks

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Willing to interact with senior residents on a daily basis

  • Available to work every other weekend

 

Part-time Evening Dietary Aide

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving & helping residents

  • Setting up & cleaning dining room

  • Handing out supplements & drinks

  • Dishwashing

  • Key Qualifications:

  • Willing to interact with senior residents on a daily basis

  • Available to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in washing, folding, and delivering laundry to residents

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in cleaning, mopping and vacuuming Community Memorial Health Center

Part-time/As needed Van Driver 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving CMHC vehicle to and from residents' appointments
 
Key Qualifications:
  • ·Current Driver's License
  • ·At least 26 years of age
